According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among Pocahontas County, WV voting-age population of 6,523 people, 95.92% of them (6,257 people) identified their race as White Alone, 2.44% of them (159 people) identified their race as Two Or More Races, and 0.74% of them (48 people) identified their race as Black or African American Alone.
