According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Connecticut voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 11,940 people who identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, which is 0.42% of the total voting-age population of Connecticut.
Fairfield County had the highest number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population (3,161), followed by New Haven County (3,114), and Hartford County (2,297).
On the other hand, the three counties with low number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population were: Tolland County (221), Middlesex County (293), and Litchfield County (378).
