United States American Indian and Alaska Native Alone Voting-age Population By State in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the US voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 2,718,370 people who identified as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, which was 1.05% of the total US voting-age population. This number is the population from the 50 states and the District of Columbia.

California had the highest number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population (475,594), followed by Oklahoma (231,207), and then Arizona (226,604). On the other hand, the 3 states that had low number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population include: Vermont (1,866), New Hampshire (2,459), and West Virginia (3,147).
