Oklahoma American Indian and Alaska Native Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Oklahoma voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 231,207 people who identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, which is 7.68% of the total voting-age population of Oklahoma.

Tulsa County had the highest number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population (28,268), followed by Oklahoma County (19,766), and Cherokee County (11,519).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population were: Cimarron County (12), Harmon County (28), and Harper County (33).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Adair County had the highest percentage, with 41.05% of its voting-age population identifying their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, followed by Cherokee County (32.01%), and Sequoyah County (21.28%).
