Rhode Island American Indian and Alaska Native Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Rhode Island voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 5,420 people who identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, which is 0.61% of the total voting-age population of Rhode Island.

Providence County had the highest number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population (3,902), followed by Washington County (756), and Kent County (406).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of American Indian and Alaska Native Alone voting-age population were: Bristol County (85), Newport County (271), and Kent County (406).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Providence County had the highest percentage, with 0.74% of its voting-age population identifying their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, followed by Washington County (0.70%), and Newport County (0.38%).
