Georgia Black or African American Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Georgia voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 2,488,419 people who identified their race as Black or African American Alone, which is 30.27% of the total voting-age population of Georgia.

Fulton County had the highest number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population (352,132), followed by DeKalb County (301,682), and Gwinnett County (188,825).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population were: Fannin County (65), Rabun County (76), and Gilmer County (103).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Clayton County had the highest percentage, with 69.68% of its voting-age population identifying their race as Black or African American Alone, followed by Dougherty County (67.57%), and Hancock County (67.22%).
