Missouri Black or African American Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Missouri voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 518,166 people who identified their race as Black or African American Alone, which is 10.85% of the total voting-age population of Missouri.

St. Louis County had the highest number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population (181,411), followed by Jackson County (116,314), and St. Louis city (99,043).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population were: Worth County (0), Schuyler County (0), and Mercer County (0).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, St. Louis city had the highest percentage, with 40.01% of its voting-age population identifying their race as Black or African American Alone, followed by Pemiscot County (24.93%), and Mississippi County (24.02%).
