North Dakota Black or African American Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the North Dakota voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 17,982 people who identified their race as Black or African American Alone, which is 3.02% of the total voting-age population of North Dakota.

Cass County had the highest number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population (8,188), followed by Ward County (2,254), and Grand Forks County (2,144).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population were: Sheridan County (0), Oliver County (0), and Kidder County (0).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Cass County had the highest percentage, with 5.73% of its voting-age population identifying their race as Black or African American Alone, followed by Williams County (4.79%), and Ward County (4.27%).
