Oklahoma Black or African American Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Oklahoma voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 216,160 people who identified their race as Black or African American Alone, which is 7.18% of the total voting-age population of Oklahoma.

Oklahoma County had the highest number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population (87,964), followed by Tulsa County (48,946), and Comanche County (15,124).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population were: Cimarron County (1), Harper County (3), and Beaver County (4).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Comanche County had the highest percentage, with 16.41% of its voting-age population identifying their race as Black or African American Alone, followed by Oklahoma County (14.62%), and Osage County (10.73%).
