Utah Black or African American Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Utah voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 26,919 people who identified their race as Black or African American Alone, which is 1.16% of the total voting-age population of Utah.

Salt Lake County had the highest number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population (15,609), followed by Davis County (2,897), and Utah County (2,873).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of Black or African American Alone voting-age population were: Piute County (0), Wayne County (1), and Morgan County (2).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Salt Lake County had the highest percentage, with 1.78% of its voting-age population identifying their race as Black or African American Alone, followed by Weber County (1.42%), and Davis County (1.18%).
