Alaska White Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the Alaska voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 349,626 people who identified their race as White Alone, which is 63.11% of the total voting-age population of Alaska.

Anchorage Municipality had the highest number of White Alone voting-age population (134,606), followed by Matanuska-Susitna Borough (62,587), and Fairbanks North Star Borough (52,094).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of White Alone voting-age population were: Kusilvak Census Area (156), Yakutat City and Borough (227), and Lake and Peninsula Borough (249).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Skagway Municipality had the highest percentage, with 88.02% of its voting-age population identifying their race as White Alone, followed by Denali Borough (87.06%), and Kenai Peninsula Borough (81.02%).
