North Carolina White Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the North Carolina voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 5,300,137 people who identified their race as White Alone, which is 64.99% of the total voting-age population of North Carolina.

Wake County had the highest number of White Alone voting-age population (528,118), followed by Mecklenburg County (426,861), and Guilford County (219,688).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of White Alone voting-age population were: Tyrrell County (1,583), Hyde County (2,453), and Washington County (4,298).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Clay County had the highest percentage, with 93.10% of its voting-age population identifying their race as White Alone, followed by Mitchell County (93.09%), and Ashe County (93.06%).
