West Virginia White Alone Voting-age Population By County in Census 2020

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all the West Virginia voting-age population (18 years and over), there were 1,301,276 people who identified their race as White Alone, which is 90.81% of the total voting-age population of West Virginia.

Kanawha County had the highest number of White Alone voting-age population (126,010), followed by Berkeley County (77,308), and Monongalia County (75,891).

On the other hand, the three counties with low number of White Alone voting-age population were: Wirt County (3,983), Calhoun County (4,841), and Pendleton County (4,874).

In terms of the percentage of each county's voting-age population, Webster County had the highest percentage, with 97.17% of its voting-age population identifying their race as White Alone, followed by Lincoln County (97.01%), and Wirt County (96.89%).
