According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the death rate for Idaho was 8.62. Lewis County had the highest death rate (16.35), followed by Shoshone County (16.24), and Lemhi County (15.43). On the other hand, Madison County had the lowest death rate (3.84), followed by Camas County (5), and Teton County (5.03).
