According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2012, the death rate for Illinois was 7.87. Pulaski County had the highest death rate (15.06), followed by Stark County (14.67), and White County (14.29). On the other hand, Kendall County had the lowest death rate (4.13), followed by Kane County (5.53), and Champaign County (5.62).
