According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2014, the number of deaths for Alabama was 49,720. Jefferson County had the highest number of deaths (6,853), followed by Mobile County (4,282), and Madison County (2,701). On the other hand, Greene County had the lowest number of deaths (96), followed by Lowndes County (109), and Bullock County (116).
