According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2012, the number of deaths for Connecticut was 29,064. Hartford County had the highest number of deaths (7,739), followed by New Haven County (7,579), and Fairfield County (6,304). On the other hand, Tolland County had the lowest number of deaths (948), followed by Windham County (987), and Middlesex County (1,429).
