According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2014, the number of deaths for Mississippi was 30,594. Hinds County had the highest number of deaths (2,211), followed by Harrison County (1,912), and DeSoto County (1,247). On the other hand, Issaquena County had the lowest number of deaths (18), followed by Jefferson County (80), and Sharkey County (81).
