According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the number of deaths for Virginia was 86,147. Fairfax had the highest number of deaths (5,822), followed by Virginia Beach city (4,223), and Henrico (3,419). On the other hand, Highland had the lowest number of deaths (35), followed by Lexington city (55), and Manassas Park city (62).
