Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 1,088,444 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Colorado and they represented 20.96% of the total population of Colorado in 2012.

Denver County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (198,333), followed by Adams County (177,076), and Arapahoe County (110,450). On the other hand, Mineral County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (23), followed by Hinsdale County (33), and Dolores County (88).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Costilla County had the highest percentage (65.48%), followed by Conejos County (54.6%), and Alamosa County (45.71%).
