Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, there were 143,568 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Hawaii and they represented 9.97% of the total population of Hawaii in 2022.

Honolulu County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (94,139), followed by Hawaii County (24,135), and Maui County (17,432). On the other hand, Kalawao County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (17), followed by Kauai County (7,845), and Maui County (17,432).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Kalawao County had the highest percentage (20.99%), followed by Hawaii County (11.7%), and Kauai County (10.63%).
