Iowa Hispanic or Latino Population By County in 2015

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2015, there were 178,561 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Iowa and they represented 5.72% of the total population of Iowa in 2015.

Polk County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (37,540), followed by Woodbury County (16,095), and Scott County (11,223). On the other hand, Adams County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (41), followed by Audubon County (60), and Wayne County (91).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Crawford County had the highest percentage (27.14%), followed by Buena Vista County (24.49%), and Marshall County (20.62%).
