Kentucky Hispanic or Latino Population By County in 2012

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 142,807 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Kentucky and they represented 3.26% of the total population of Kentucky in 2012.

Jefferson County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (34,619), followed by Fayette County (21,359), and Hardin County (5,978). On the other hand, Robertson County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (22), followed by Owsley County (45), and Leslie County (47).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Shelby County had the highest percentage (9.07%), followed by Bourbon County (7.01%), and Christian County (7.01%).
