New York Hispanic or Latino Population By County in 2017

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, there were 3,709,063 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in New York and they represented 18.93% of the total population of New York in 2017.

Bronx County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (803,964), followed by Queens County (636,552), and Kings County (490,907). On the other hand, Hamilton County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (71), followed by Schuyler County (315), and Lewis County (491).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Bronx County had the highest percentage (55.83%), followed by Queens County (27.73%), and New York County (25.77%).
