Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2010, there were 806,177 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in North Carolina and they represented 8.42% of the total population of North Carolina in 2010.

Mecklenburg County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (112,400), followed by Wake County (88,443), and Forsyth County (41,961). On the other hand, Gates County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (179), followed by Graham County (202), and Camden County (225).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Duplin County had the highest percentage (20.72%), followed by Lee County (18.27%), and Sampson County (16.49%).
