Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, there were 349,036 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Tennessee and they represented 5.25% of the total population of Tennessee in 2016.
Davidson County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (68,739), followed by Shelby County (57,653), and Rutherford County (23,318). On the other hand, Hancock County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (32), followed by Van Buren County (83), and Pickett County (96).
When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Bedford County had the highest percentage (12.14%), followed by Hamblen County (11.39%), and Crockett County (10.34%).
