Vermont Hispanic or Latino Population By County in 2022

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, there were 16,585 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Vermont and they represented 2.56% of the total population of Vermont in 2022.

Chittenden County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (4,856), followed by Washington County (1,656), and Windham County (1,408). On the other hand, Essex County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (100), followed by Grand Isle County (172), and Orleans County (516).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Addison County had the highest percentage (3.24%), followed by Windham County (3.07%), and Bennington County (2.89%).
