Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2023, there were 290,444 people in Alabama who identified as Hispanic or Latino. Among this group, 84.25% (244,708) identified their race as White, 6.93% (20,115) identified their race as Black or African American, and 3.49% (10,137) identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native.
