According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2020, the net domestic migration for Minnesota was -9,757. Washington County had the highest net domestic migration (1,959) followed by Wright County (887), and Isanti County (868). On the other hand, Ramsey County had the lowest net domestic migration (-5,835), followed by Hennepin County (-5,547), and Polk County (-517).

Net Domestic Migration for a given county refers to the the difference between number of people moving to the county from other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico).
