According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2019, the net domestic migration for Missouri was -3,916. Clay County had the highest net domestic migration (2,365) followed by St. Charles County (1,411), and Greene County (1,365). On the other hand, St. Louis city had the lowest net domestic migration (-4,528), followed by St. Louis County (-3,497), and DeKalb County (-1,708).

Net Domestic Migration for a given county refers to the the difference between number of people moving to the county from other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico).
