Washington Net Domestic Migration Rate By County in 2019

According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2019, the net domestic migration rate for Washington was 4.75. Pacific County had the highest net domestic migration rate (25.13) followed by Lincoln County (22.82), and Wahkiakum County (22.82). On the other hand, Columbia County had the lowest net domestic migration rate (-9.66), followed by Yakima County (-4.61), and Whitman County (-2.96).

Net Domestic migration rate for a given county refers to the the difference between number of people moving to the county from other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) per 1,000 of the mid-year population of the county.
