Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2014, among all South Dakota counties, Oglala Lakota County had the highest percentage of its population who identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native (91.43%), followed by Todd County (85.41%), and Buffalo County (79.01%).
