Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2014, the Number of Deaths for the United States was 2.58M. Among all US states and DC, California had the highest number of deaths (244.04K), followed by Florida (181.04K), and Texas (180.74K).

On the other hand, Alaska had the lowest number of deaths (4.01K) followed by Wyoming (4.53K), and District of Columbia (4.65K).
