Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2013, the Natural Population Increase Rate per 1K for the United States was 4.23. Among all US states and DC, Utah had the highest natural population increase rate (12.37), followed by Alaska (9.96), and Texas (7.83).

On the other hand, West Virginia had the lowest natural population increase rate (-0.71) followed by Maine (-0.41), and Vermont (0.68).
