Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, among all US states and DC, New York had the highest percentage of its population who identified their race as Hispanic Black or African American (3.28%), followed by Rhode Island (2.64%), and New Jersey (2.36%).

On the other hand, Montana had the lowest percentage of its population who identified as Hispanic Black or African American (0.07%), followed by Maine (0.11%), and South Dakota (0.12%).
