ON CERTAIN FIFTH WHEEL TRAILERS EQUIPPED WITH ALUMINUM WHEELS, THE THICKNESS OF THE WHEEL MAY NOT ALLOW FOR ENOUGH THREAD ENGAGEMENT OF THE LUG NUTS.

Consequence Summary:

LACK OF THREAD ENGAGEMENT COULD ALLOW THE WHEEL TO SEPARATE FROM THE TRAILER AND A CRASH COULD OCCUR WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE.

Corrective Action:

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE WHEELS FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JANUARY 4, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT KOMFORT AT 800-554-2711.
