Description of Non-Compliance. Date: April-16-2021 At approximately 0730, while conducting a walk-through inspection of the alley in the holding pens area at the establishment, the following noncompliance was observed. A crack in cement floor approximately 3 x 3 inches was observed approximately 9 feet away from main entrance of the holding pen doors. There is slight crumbling on edges which shows possibility of becoming larger in the future especially with animals moving through that area. Therefore, this crack has a high potential of causing tripping and falling by animals as they transit through this area. Establishment Manager Justin Barnes was made aware of the issue and location pointed out. This is in noncompliance with 9 CFR 313.1 Livestock pens, driveways, and ramps. As always you have the right to appeal this noncompliance.
