Non-Compliance Description:

At approximately 05:55 am, while checking pens, I CSI REDACTED noted that pen 4 did not have a water trough in the pen. Pen 4 contained 10 hd of Belcampo beef. I was told by the person attending during ante-mortem that these cattle had been sorted from pens 1 and 2 were there was water available. I informed this person that even though they had been on water earlier, they must have access to water in all holding pens and that I would issue a non compliance. This statement can be verified in 9CFR313.2(e). I then informed REDACTED that I would reject ante-mortem on these cattle until water was provided. At 0615 am, I performed ante-mortem on these cattle with a full water trough and released them for harvest. This situation is a violation of 9CFR 313.2(e). Through review of records there are no associated non compliances.
