HATS Category III Water and Feed Availability On Wednesday 9/1/21 at 6:35 am I, CSI REDACTED observed the following noncompliance: In the barn I observed one pig and thirteen cows held overnight, none of the animals had access to water. The tanks in the holding pens were empty. I verbally alerted planted supervisor REDACTED of the noncompliance who went to check the situation and then dispatched a plant employee to fill water tanks and feed the animals. No regulatory control was taken due to the prompt corrective actions taken by the establishment. This noncompliance is associated with NR # PTE0613075812N that was issued on 7/12/2021 for the same root cause. A copy of the report with be given to Mr. REDACTED.

HATS Category III: Water and Feed Availability On Monday July 12, 2021, at 6:30am I, Dr. REDACTED, SPHV, observed the following noncompliance: In the barn I observed nine market hogs in pen 1 that had been held over the weekend. I observed that there was no water in the pen for the hogs. Plant Employee, REDACTED, was verbally notified of the noncompliance and he immediately started filling the water tank for the hogs, therefore no regulatory control action was taken. Plant Owner, Cindy Tolle, was notified in writing of the noncompliance. There have been no noncompliance records issued for the same root cause in the past 90 days.
