On 05/14/2021 while performing Livestock Humane Handling Task Category VIII Stunning Effectiveness, CSI REDACTED observe a noncompliance: At approximately 1025 hours, after 2 pigs were stunned, and the box metal gate was opened CSI REDACTED observed rhythmic breathing (rib cage moves in and out) on one of the pig for more than four times and vocal sounds was heard each time the pig open and shut his snout. The eyes were wide open, but no eye movement was observed. CSI REDACTED alerted Plant Supervisor REDACTED and an immediate corrective action by re-stunning the pig was implemented and that rendered the pig unconscious.
