Non-Compliance Description:

On February 28th, 2022, at approximately 0738 hours while performing HATS Category 3 Water and Feed Availability at Pen #41, I, CSI REDACTED observed a noncompliance with 9 CFR 313.2. Pen #41 contained animals and the pen had no water. I immediately requested for a supervisor to come to the area to provide water to the pen and I subsequently notified my supervisors. At approximately 0745 hours FSQR Superintendent REDACTED came to the area and the pen was shown to him. The animals were immediately moved to pen #43 that contained water. A Supervisor was in the area and realized the water line to these pens was turned off. Once the establishment fixed the water line, the troughs started filling. Mario Navarrete was informed of the forthcoming noncompliance. 9CFR 313.2(e) states in part; Animals shall have access to water in all holding pens.
