At approximately 9:20am, on September 27, 2023, while performing a routine HATS category III Water and Feed Availability, CSI REDACTED observed the following noncompliance. Inside the barn, the water trough for the pen 7 quad, housing two steer was observed to be empty and knocked on the ground. This is noncompliant with 9CFR 313.2(e) that states "Animals shall have access to water in all holding pens..." Barn personnel were notified, and water was provided to the animals. CSI REDACTED notified REDACTED of the noncompliance.

At approximately 10:45A on September 15, 2023 while performing a routine HATS category III Water and Feed availability, SPHV REDACTED observed the following noncompliance. Inside the barn two pens did not have water. Pen 1 did not have a water trough available to the two cattle in the pen. Pen 9 had an empty water trough and one bull in the pen. This is noncompliant with 9 CFR 313.2 (e) that states “Animals shall have access to water in all holding pens...” Barn personnel were notified, and water was provided to the animals. SPHV REDACTED notified REDACTED of the noncompliance.
