HATS Category III: Water and Food Availability On January 11, 2023 at approximately 0610 hours while conducting Livestock Human Handling verification task with Dr. REDACTED it was observed that management failed to provide water to cattle in the pen. Operations were stopped and US Tag# B41497976 was affixed to the stun box. Management had failed to provide containers containing water, and upon identification of noncompliance, 5 gallon buckets replete with water were provided to all pens containing livestock. Mr. REDACTED, plant manager, was notified verbally and in writing with this NR, that the requirement of section 9CFR 313.2(e) of the regulations were not met.
