HATS Category VIII: Water Availability On September 10, 2024, at approximately 1100 hours at Barnards processing LLC, I, CSI REDACTED while performing Livestock Humane Handling review and observation at the barn establishment, observed that the livestock did not have Water Availability for the animal prior to the slaughter process. Plant personnel and plant owner were immediately notified that the establishment failed to meet the regulatory requirements on HATS categories III 9 CFR313.2(e) and reject tag #B-26 021430 was applied. The empty trough was then filled with water.
