On Aug 29th at 5:45am, while doing an anti-mortem/Humane Handling task, MPI REDACTED discover a pen containing 2 beef that had no water available. Plant manager REDACTED was notified of this and that a non-compliance would be issued. All animals appeared to be in good condition. Handling of livestock - 313.2(e) Animals shall have access to water in all holding pens and, if held longer than 24 hours, access to feed. There shall be sufficient room in the holding pen for animals held overnight to lie down.

On April 17, 2024, at approximately 5:45 A.M. it was observed by CSI REDACTED and Supervisor REDACTED while performing PHIS "HATS TASK" that a noncompliance of regulations 9 CFR 313.2 E. "Animals shall have access to water in all holding pens" had occurred. Three swine in the Northwest pen next to the alleyway had no water available as well as 2 beef in the center and1 beef in the South pen This matter was brought to the attention of the Establishment at which time all animals in holding pens were watered. This matter was also presented to Establishment Manager REDACTED at approximately8:00 A.M.
