HATS Category III – Water and Feed Availability On April 17, 2024, at approximately 9:10am, I (SPHV REDACTED) observed the following non-compliance at Thomas Farm Meats (M13575). While conducting ante-mortem inspection, I observed that there was no water available for the two head of cattle located in pen 2. I notified an establishment employee of the deficiency, and he immediately retrieved pans and filled them with water. Mr. REDACTED (plant owner) was notified that a non-compliance record would be issued. The establishment failed to meet the regulatory requirements of 9 CFR 313.2(e).
