HATS Category III On 1/23/2025 at approximately 0856 while performing a Humane Handling Task with FLS REDACTED, the following noncompliance was observed: The water trough for Pen 2 was pushed outside of the gate by one of the pigs being held for slaughter. This caused the water trough to be non-accessible, noncompliant with 9 CFR 313.2 (e). Both owners, REDACTED and REDACTED were notified of the noncompliance and made aware of U.S Reject tag B45561449. The establishment failed to meet regulatory requirements of 9 CFR 313.2 (e). The establishment installed two stainless steel water troughs into the pens to prevent the animals from emptying them by tilting.
