On Tuesday, March 25th, 2025, at approximately 11:50am, during a Federal 5720 visit, EIAO REDACTED, FLS REDACTED, and IIC REDACTED (REDACTED observed the following noncompliance involving HATS category II (truck unloading): While observing the exterior of the establishment, IPP observed the livestock unloading area and holding pens. IPP observed a metal guard, located to the left of the gate in the lower unloading area, with the bottom left corner folding in towards the unloading area/holding pens, as well as an exposed edge that was not blunt to the touch. The guard is at the height where an animal's leg could brush against if moving around. No tags were placed. There were no animals on premises during the visit. REDACTED, establishment owner, was verbally notified of this noncompliance. This noncompliance record serves as written notification.
