While performing a Humane Handling task on Tuesday 03-04-2025 at approximately 7:05am, I noticed in the animal chute which leads into the knockroom, there was a protruding and the weld had broken. There were no animals in the chute at that time. I notified Mr. REDACTED the plant owner, that the establishment was not meeting the requirements regulation 313.1. I also discussed how the protrudin bar could be a hazard to any animal or employee that makes their way into the chute. No product or animals were affected.
