HATS Category III – Water and Feed Availability On 01/10/2025, at approximately 10:15 am, the following noncompliance was observed while performing the Livestock Humane Handling task. While observing the conditions in the barn and cattle holding pens it was noted that pens 1 and 2 did not have access to water. The heated automatic water device is in the fence panel separating the two pens so that both pens are supplied by one device. The waterer was empty and the pipe supplying the waterer was frozen. Plant Manager REDACTED was notified, and cattle were provided with water using a 5-gallon bucket. This represents a noncompliance with 9 CFR 313.2(e).
